Jess Ambler is the Director of the Eleanor D. Wilson Museum and Co-Director of the GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) certificate program at Hollins University.
She has a Ph.D. in art history from UC Santa Barbara with a specialization in ancient Roman architecture and city planning. Jess has over a decade of experience in the art world including work in museums, an auction house, art advisory, and numerous universities.
She was Head of Research for the Heller Group, an art advisory in New York City and Paris specializing in modern and contemporary art, Curator + Artist Relations for Loupe, Inc. an art streaming platform, and the Director of the Martin Art Gallery at Muhlenberg College.
She is a qualified appraiser and an Accredited Member of the Appraisers Association of America. She was a mayoral appointed member and officer of the Allentown Arts Commission, an Executive Committee member of the Museum and Library Alliance of the Lehigh Valley, and is currently a Communications Committee Member for the Association of Academic Museums and Galleries.
